New Project (Ep2 SDK)
I decided to put Archimedes on hold and start a new project today. The idea is for me to practice my detailing skills. Also I want to take some inspiration from from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. I want to get the whole "decayed" sort of atmosphere to the map. I don't think that it will require too many custom assets as Half-Life 2 Episode 2 has quite a bit in the ways of broken down decayed material.

I've been messing around and learning about Valve's Hammer editor for a while now. This is probably my first actual released project. I went through several iterations before I got to this stage. I was aiming for a kind of surreal look. The point of this was really just a small test to see if I could make something look nice.
I've worked on this map for about a week or two. Originally it was in an ocean but I decided to change the 3d sky to a desert because it was easier.
(Just built for experimental reasons, not for gameplay reasons.)
